Rear height / Alçada del darrera

Since the rear height was too low I decided to raise it a little. With that configuration the springplates were always hitting the frame at every samll bump so driving was not comfortable.

My father and I removed axles from springplates and removed springplates too... Setting the correct height means a lot of guessing and we lowered and raised the bus 3 times after we were happy with the result.

Com que la suspensió del darrera estava massa baixa vaig decidir pujar-la una mica. Amb aquella configuració les làmines tocaven enseguida amb el xassís a cada ressalt, d'aquella manera no era còmode conduïr.

Amb el pare vam desmuntar els semieixos de les làmines i també aquestes. Deixar la furgo a l'alçada correcta vol dir fer moltes suposicions i vam baixar-la i pujar-la 3 vegades fins que no vam estar contents amb el resultat.

Mud Flaps

I recovered the very used mud flaps that were in our baywindow. I cleaned it and modifyed the brackets to fit the split.

He recuperat els faldons que portava la nostra T2, els vaig natejar i vaig modificar els suports perquè encaixéssin amb la T1.

Exhaust for the heater / Escapament per la calefa

The last few day I worked in the exhaust for my heater. I dig it from a junk yard, it was from a Dodge van. Shape was great as I only had to cut both ends and weld a support.

Els últims dies he estat treballant en l'escapament per la calefacció. El vaig trobar en un desguàs i era d'un monovolum Dodge. La forma era perfecte i només vaig haver de tallar els finals i soldar un suport.
